1. About Menopause@Work Africa

Menopause@Work Africa provides workplace menopause support tools, educational resources, AI-powered guidance, anonymised workplace insights, and wellbeing support for organisations and employees across Africa.

Our services are designed to support workplace wellbeing and are not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.

If you are accessing the platform through your employer, your organisation may manage certain administrative aspects of your workspace.

3. Privacy & Confidentiality

Employee privacy is central to our platform design.

Individual conversations, symptom information, and personal wellbeing interactions are not shared with employers. Employers only receive anonymised and aggregated workplace insights.

4. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

misuse the platform,

attempt unauthorised access,

share harmful or unlawful content,

interfere with platform security,

impersonate another person or organisation.

We reserve the right to suspend access for misuse or violations.

5. AI Guidance Disclaimer

Ada, our AI Coach, provides educational and wellbeing support only.

The platform does not provide medical diagnosis, emergency care, or clinical treatment recommendations. Users should seek professional medical advice where appropriate.

6. Employer Workspaces

Each organisation receives a secure workspace environment.

Employers may access anonymised reporting and workplace trends but will never receive individual employee health data or private conversations.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, educational materials, resources, designs, and software are the property of Menopause@Work Africa unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit platform materials without written permission.

8. Subscription & Pilot Services

Pilot programmes and ongoing subscriptions are subject to agreed pricing, billing terms, and implementation timelines.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of access.

9. Limitation of Liability

Menopause@Work Africa is provided on an “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

indirect or consequential losses,

business interruption,

personal decisions made based on platform content,

temporary service interruptions,

third-party service failures.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect platform data and maintain secure workspaces.

However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Services

Certain platform features may integrate with third-party providers or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or service availability.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where these Terms are violated or where misuse is identified.
